SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Unseen Fairies

Based on an Ashanti/Jamaican fairy tale: In the before time, there were no stories on earth - they were all owned by the sky god. Kwaku Anansi bought the box of stories from the sky god by capturing four creatures. The last of them was one of the fairies who was never seen. I imagined the fairies were dryad-like guardians of the jungle forests, making themselves known only when they wanted to tease or punish but not necessarily benevolent. This was my first take on them. I didn't quite know how to do invisibility here - it will be more apparent in the Photoshop version.

Forgive me, but I would love to see it in color! The lizard warrior in green and blue scales... It would be a great cover for a book !
